In celebration of the newest franchise to launch, Herschel Supply hosted a competition where each designer would receive 100$ to reimagine the newest silhouette. Here, I took the opportunity to explore casted forms, materials in this feminine backpack.
Herschel Homework
Inspired by the creativity that came out of the Nova Project and the desire to bring together community during the early days of COVID, Herschel Supply put out a call for reimagining their backpacks.
This time, I wanted to play with the deconstructed components of a bag and the shapes they create. Using wire, I created the individual parts of Herschel Supply’s largest franchise, the Heritage backpack.
